Back in Business

There are good and bad things about what I am observing at this location. Firstly, it is great to see so many people attending and being a part of the area. Utilizing it in every way it was intended. With people jumping, diving and swimming in and out of every water filled attraction. Even though it is so great to see all of these people here I know that this won’t happen again for a long time. As winter approaches it will slowly be the end of this area. This location will have no purpose and no reason to be visited. It is a seasonal place and that season is just about over.

There are three large groups of university present at the pool. It’s as if they also know the hard truth that this maybe their last weekend at this place and they are taking full advantage of it. The use of props are evident as an array of tuber and other inflatable objects greet the water. As I turn towards the spa area it’s as if all the spaces are taken and there is a perfect ring of people shoulder beverage. One thing that they all have in common is alcohol. There is alcoholic beverages is almost everyone’s hand. Baking up previous observations, it is clear that the spa and alcoholic beverages come hand in hand. There are one group of Asian descent who haven’t taken as much to the water and they have to the table and chairs area. As they confiscate chairs form other area and join them so that the entire group fits around this one table conversing with everyone doesn’t appear to be a problem. I can’t understand a word they are saying but it’s clear that they didn’t come here for the water but for the sun. The sun is out and not a cloud to be seen in the sky. It’s not that hot but the sun itself seems to be enough to draw the crowd.

It’s good to see a good turnout here today, it has been a few weeks since I have since this place full. As I stated earlier I am concerned that this might be the last good turnout but from what I can see here a diverse group of people are all having fun in their own way and it seems as if the place  still going strong. It’s good to see that the table and chairs and the water is being used and not just the warmer choice as per usual. I am here a little earlier than usual so maybe that has something to do with it and ill be coming back at this same time next week to see if I can observe a pattern that might be evident.
