Strange Night

Saturday morning the day of homecoming. Waking up to a clear sky with the beautiful sun shining upon us. But it's just something strange about this Saturday. As we walk outside to the car for walk-throughs depressed, tired, and ready to get the walk through out of the way. It's a cold morning but the sun is out the wind in blowing hard. Going over the plays that the team will be running tonight getting our offense and defense ready for the game tonight. But before that the coach had a passionate speech. You can see it in his eyes that he has so much love for us. He treats us as if were his kin and some players just don't appreciate it. The looks on the players faces would just put fear in a kids heart. Meaning they have a game face on while the ones that are not playing are ready to get some rest. While were on our way to our dorms the homecoming parade made us take another route to the dorm. It was a nice little parade but others wasn't in the mood to watch it. The parade gave homecoming day so much energy. After a while we began to go to the locker room to get ready for the game and everybody were so ready win. Even though the other players wasn't playing they still were cheering there team on. It just felt like everyone was playing that night but it was just too cold. For the first time ever Las Cruces weather finally shocked me. It was a devastating cold night with a couple of the faithful fans base that cheered us on being cold as well taking out their spare time to watch us play. Coming out of the tunnel as a team was the best part everyone ready to fight for one another. Let the game begin !
