More than meets the eye.

I notice the resteraunt seems a little emptier than usual. As we are seated to a table I notice the couple next to me. They both seem to be an attractive pair. The girl is medium height. She has blonde hair and big green eyes. The guy is tall. I come to the conclusion that he lifts, due to his big muscles and toned body. I wonder if he's always had a beard or if it's just due to the month November. As I began to order I glance over to see how the couple is doing. They weren't doing anything. It was quite amusing to see a couple not saying anything to eachother for a solid 5 minutes. The girl looked mad. Her face seemed tense and her body langauge unwelcoming. He began to speak and she seemed unamused. I noticed there was no ring on either of their fingers. I oddly somehow hoped that the two of them wouldn't get married.

After about 10 more minutes of her looking unamused and him talking the night away, their food was brought to the table. She had ordered a salad. I wondered why on earth anybody would order a salad at a mexican restaurant. She must be the healthy type I thought to myself. On the other hand the guy ordered just about the whole menu. Before they ate they began to pray. When they were done praying she did the sign of the cross. It caught me a little off gaurd.

While they both ate they didn't speak. Either because they were both hungry or had nothing to say. I'm assuming they had nothing to say based on their previous actions. When they were done, he reached for the check. She didn't say thank you or acklowedge that he had paid for her dinner. It almost seemed expected of him.

He seemed sweet. It was something in his eyes. He seemed to really care for this girl sitting in front of him. She didn't look at him the same way. In fact she didn't seem to look at him at all. Instead she glanced down at her phone and around the room. She seemed out of his league. She was quite attractive and although he had a lot going for him I felt as though she felt he was lucky to have her.

I could tell that she wanted to leave. She began to stand as she put on her jacket. He stood up to help her out of the table. She had a prosthetic leg. It suddenly seemed to change the entire game. Above the surfac or (table) I should say, she seemed like a perfectly normal girl. But there was more to her than meets the eye. He helped out of the resteraunt and they dissapeared amongst the crowd of people waiting to be seated.
