New mistakes and Old

This week was rather interesting in terms of gym members actually going to the gym. It appears that there are more people who have fit bodies coming to the gym. Mr. O has grown bored of his workout routine and has seen minimal gains from it so to supplement it he is working out six days a week ! This does take its toll on the body but if he stays rested and eats well he could see more growth. Sadly on the sixth day Mr.O encountered a problem with the staff about his bad habit of dropping weights and has been issued his last warning on dropping weights.  If Mr.O slips up on this he will not be allowed to workout in the school gym.

One issue with more people coming in to tone their bodies and push physical limits is the fact that they gym  isn't  fully  equipped  to  handle a large volume of people, what I found odd is the fact that even when people need to wait to use equipment they decide to stay rather than just give up. There is also the fact of the matter that the new patrons (and yes there are still new people rolling in every week) randomly walk around using equipment without any signs of having a real routine which takes up time and machines between sets for people who are on a set routine. Don’t take it as I dislike having new blood but it should be noted that there is an actual etiquette for the gym, we aren’t a bunch of meat head jerks. When new people pop in they should have some basic knowledge gained before hand then ask somebody that is more experienced on proper form, the newbies should also not take what experienced people say as law. It doesn’t matter how experienced you are, you are probably doing something wrong.

Mr.O makes mistakes still after 4 years of weight training. This brings us back to his current issue. Mr.O, is worried about getting kicked out of the gym for his mistake, granted he needs to change this bad habit but as most of us know its hard to change bad habits without the proper methods. It should be noted again that Mr.O has been working out for 4 years which does mean that for four years he has had time to develop this bad habit into an almost unintentional reflex. I will attempt to help Mr.O with this habit but no promises are being made.
