Girls vs Boys

It is super cold outside, I think winter is on its way here. The weather outside is about 44 degrees. There seems to be a small breeze. You can tell by the way the branches of the leaves are moving: back and forth. It is nice and warm inside the building. Just right for me. With my scarf warming my neck, and hot coco by my side. This is weather is absolutely perfect. The leaves are beginning to change color and fall slowly to the ground.

As I sit down in my usual spot, I begin to notice a few amount of people today. Is the cold weather stopping all these people from coming? Or is today just not a busy day?

One group of four girls are sitting down together working on a project. I suppose. Two are sitting down on the chairs and the other two and standing watching their project. I believe one student said that they should each have a term explaining their project just to see how good they are on time. I’m guessing it might be a power point. All the girls take a turn reading from the computer.

One of the girls who is standing up says it’s finally finished. They all smile and begin to get their stuff ready and start packing all their materials in their bags and backpacks. Once the girls leave the building I think to myself, the girls in the building are the ones who are usually getting their work done. The guys who I’ve seen in the building are just talking with each other and laughing. Most of the time the guys don’t do work. The guys that I have seen who do their work are usually older guys, maybe from the twenties and over?

One guy/man that I always see here at the building who is always doing his work is an older man. He looks about in his late sixties? This older man always has a lunch bag, a backpack, and a Yankees baseball cap. He always seems to be getting his work done, if he is coming to school. He is calm, looking at different pages online. There is times when I keep an eye on him, and I see his face get closer to the computer. Maybe he is reading something that caught his attention. Or maybe he is really interested in the things we finds.

Is gender a factor of homework complement?
