Basketball game

this past week we had a basketball tournament it was friday saturday and sunday. we did good on friday we played two games and won both so on saturday they mad the brackets and our team was the 5 out of 20 teams so it was pretty good. since we were ranked pretty high we would play the lower ranked teams which mad it easier for us because of course we were a stronger team then them. it was double elimination so we were good especially since we were ranked high. later on in the day there was ten teams left the final 4 would make it to sunday. the next game we played was really intense because the team we played had already lost  one game so if we beat them they would go home. the whole game we played this team was rough. and the thing that helped them out was they actually had a decent crowd to cheer them on so the whole game was loud and intense and to me those are the best games to play. they did get to us the first half we were losing by 15 but we still had another 20 minutes to catch up. we came out strong the next half and broke down the lead to 5 with 12 minutes to go their crowd got quite  real quick and thats were we got our momentum going with 5 minutes left in the clock we had a 10 point lead and from there on the game went our way and won. after the game  we went to the other in respect gave them a hand shake and said good game. i took off my shirt and jersey and was covered in sweat it looked like we toke a shower. we where done for the day there was 8 teams left and it was all going to be decided on sunday.

sunday came along and had an early game at 9 we ended up losing that game but its not because it was early but because we didn't play hard we played horrible. we lost by 11 which was pretty bad we just moved on and got ready for the next game. the team we played next was on so we stayed and watched them to see how they played to see there strengths and weaknesses. we knew we had to play this game we game out making our shots and playing defense strong you could notice everyone stopped to watch this game because the team we played was in the number 2 seed and we came out with the lead by the first half by 15 points. the other team and crowd couldn't believe it because they were blowing out team by 20 points or more. the teams that were left and even some of the crown cheered us on which hyped us up even more. they came out strong the second half but we still kept up our intensity as well because we knew if we lost we would go home. in one of the plays that made this game or intense was on of my teammates had the ball and the defender reached for the ball and ended up hitting his nose he started bleeding but it was noting to bad but he did have to go clean himself because he did bleed a bit. my teammate was still a little mad after what happened so once he came back in he started playing dirty with the guy that hit him and in one he kind of pushed the guy out of bounced and the guy got bothered and a big argument happened with pushing and shoving and talking but nothing to serious to get us kicked out. the game came down to the wire but sadly we ended up taken the loss but we only lost by 4 but we played hard and we ended up 6 in the tournament which wasn't bad but we knew could have done better.
