haircut

this past friday i had gone with my friend to the barber shop so he could get a hair cut. i didn't mind going with him but they take a long time at the barber shop thats why i didn't get a haircut that day. we went early around 12:30 p.m. as we walked in there was already 3 people ahead of him so we knew we were in for a long wait. the barber shops are fun though because as soon as we entered all you here is laughing and talking its never quite unless there are no costumers. each hair cut takes about 45 minutes to an hour. as we waited we talk to our barber about what happened this week or whats going on on the weekend or even about shoes because he like to collect shoes. as i waited with my friend i kind of dosed off and started paying attention on how he was cutting peoples hair. i was amazed because i think cutting hair is very hard and the way they make you look after you seem like a new person. all i could hear were the buzzing from the clippers, i was just looking on how he would move the clippers a certain way when he would cut the and depending on the side of the head he was cutting he would move it different and also the way he would change the clips to fade the hair and also cut the hair ti the size he wanted to. and he wouldn't go over the hair just once he would go over it like 3 times before he would move on and cutting the rest of the hair not many people take time like that. he would brush the hair after every time he went over the hair to get all the hair at the same length. once he was done he would use a specific blade to line you up and shave of the little hairs the clippers can't get. when he does that he puts a cutting gel then shaves it up then he will do it again but this time with shaving cram and then he would put rubbing alcohol for it not to get irritated. he did the exact same thing to all the costumers finally my friend was up. it was about 3 when he was up so he took about 1 hour with each of the other costumers.  my friend is black so he has really think and nappy hair so they say its harder to cut their type of hair because of the way it is. i saw the way he was cutting it and the other costumers he did he was going up with the hair but with my friend he was cutting down with the hair because of the way of the hair. when he did the other people he just went over the top of the hair twice but since my friends is thicker and harder to cut he went over it 4 times because the barber was saying that if he doesn't do it that many times his hair wouldn't be as short as he wanted it. and before my friend started getting a low fade he picked his hair so he can cut the sides right and it wouldn't be short and long from the same parts. i kept looking and i guess it depends on the way the hair is and the style because he was cutting everyones different and it all looked different once he was finished. when he was cutting his hair he would only use two clips and that was for both sides which i thought was weird but i asked him and he said because of the way of his hair when he would brush it down it would look shorter than it was. once he finished lining him up he cleaned him up and put some type of wax and it was for  my friends waves on his hair so they couldn't  go away since he cut his hair but its always does it after every time he done getting a hair cut. so after watching everting i noticed that he cuts people hair depending on the style of the hair and the style of cut they want to have.
