Meal Time Activities

This week at the Pond there were only a few people that stayed for any length of time most probably due to the colder weather.  There were only five individuals and one group of three that stayed and only a few people were passing through.  The group of three were all male and they had a table set up and were passing out flyers.  They were also dressed very similarly with matching t-shirts and jeans and two had jackets on.  Only one checked his phone and was on it for around five minutes.  There were only four or five people that walked by and each time one of the males would hand them a flyer and talk with them briefly before they kept going.  They were there for the entire time I was there.

There were four females and two males sitting individually at the benches and tables.  The first male was wearing a hoodie and jeans and spent most of his time there reading a book.  He was also on his phone quite a bit and had his headphones in.  He arrived after I had been there for about five minutes and left 45 minutes later.  The other male was sitting at one of the tables when I got there and was wearing athletic shorts and a t-shirt and jacket.  He had a book and a notebook on the table with his bag but did not pay much attention to them and was on his phone for most of his time there.  As he left he was joined by a female companion and they left the area together.

The first female was sitting at one of the benches reading a book when I got there.  She was wearing a black pants and a t-shirt and had a heavy jacket on with a scarf.  She only checked her phone twice that I saw and spent most her time reading what looked like a novel.  She was there for the entire time I was.  The second female was sitting near the first but they did not interact from what I saw.  She had a book and notebook out and was reading and taking notes.  She was also on her phone quite a bit and had her headphones in.  She was only there for about 20 minutes before she packed everything up and left.  The third female was talking on her phone and walking around.  She was wearing jeans and a jacket and had a backpack on.  When she was done with the phone approximately 25 minutes later, she went to the bike rack and unlocked her bike and left.  The last female was sitting at one of the benches writing in a notebook.  She had some paperwork on the bench with her and it looked like she was studying.  She was wearing khakis and a t-shirt with a hoodie and only checked her phone once that I saw.  She got there after I had been there for approximately 20 minutes, and was still there when I left.
