How To Know What's Right and What's Wrong?

With this new generation how can parents know what's right and what's wrong? How can parents know now in days if tattoo's and piercings are right or wrong since everyone has them? Those are the questions I asked Scott. Do your kids think anything about your tattoo's? He responded, well they have asked why I have drawings all over my body, I just simply tell them that it's my way of loving art. My body represents my art. Many people make paintings, music, drawings or even dance but I show art my tattooing myself, each tattoo that I have represents a part of me. When I explain this to my kids I tell them that when they get older little by little they'll find their art.I wondered if his kids would have tattoo's. In this society that we live in people judge by looks. Doctors, professors, business people and etc. can't have tattoos. They discriminate against them and at times no matter if you have an education they will turn them down for having tattoo's.Everyday, being at DNA Ink tattoo shop I saw parents arguing with their kids about how they would not co sign so they could have a tattoo or piercing because it would ruin their future. As well as that, I saw many parents going in with their teens getting matching tattoo's or matching piercings. How can one know in an actual job if that was wrong or right if that's how they were raised or even their culture, why should they have a less of a chance of getting a job.I asked Scott if he was afraid of their kids getting tattoo's and loosing advantages to jobs. He told me, "No, I shouldn't have to be and neither should they. A tattoo does not change your opinions nether the less your personality. You are who you are and if they find a job they are very well qualified for and get turned down over tattoo's, that place is looking over a law suit!"I wonder if I ever have kids, how will I feel about tattoo's in the future, will I let them have them? What about piercings? In my opinion tattoo's are not bad, anyone should be able to get what they want on their body.I wonder if society will change in time and allow all tattooed people in most of the work places that are out there. As Sunny came in to the store I wondered, and I asked her, "how do you feel about people getting less of an opportunity to get a job due to having tattoo's?" She then answered me, "I think people are so stupid now in days, that actually happened to me! I couldn't get a job even at a local store. I applied online at Albertsons, they called me in for an interview, once I went in, they were so rude due to my tattoo's and didn't hire me because I didn't look "decent" and many old people came into that store daily, I felt so furious but just decided to drop it, I'm happy with my art and don't care if they don't like it, it's on my body not theirs.
