Overview

It must have rained the night before, because the roads are wet, and it smells fresh outside. It is quickly warming up though.

99% of the time there are these groups of people at a park:

The small families of either one parent or both with one or two kids that are playing, doing activities such as tag, flying a kite, soccer, tossing  a ball, or sitting at the tables or on the ground in the grass or with a beach towel.

The large families that are in a get together for a birthday for a child in the family, or just a bug lunch. They have food, and lots of coolers along with disposable cutlery and plates. If its a party, they have balloons, streamers, and a cake. Maybe even one of those blown up bouncy houses.

People who are riding their bike around, jogging, or power walking like I do with headphones on. Fitting into the athletic category, I'll put the people playing basketball on the court here.

Usually there is a couple walking around talking, holding hands, or laying down in the grass or on a blanket.

Away from the main area of the park by the pond, I usually see the groups of young adults hanging out. At least one is smoking a cigarette. They usually sit in a circle and are talking and laughing.

People who come alone, such as myself, are almost always on their phone and have headphones or a cigarette.

Here are the weird things I've seen at the park locations:

The group that actually were rowing around in the pond from buoy to buoy with life jackets on.

At night when a group was smoking their hookah outside in the grass.

When someone drove their SUV through the park. It was not a service car at all.

People trying to fish in the pond. I guess that's not that weird, I just remember the one clearly homeless man getting a tiny fish out. He didn't have a shirt on, and didn't have shoes. Also it looked as if he hadn't showered in a while. I mean you can just tell.

There was seriously nothing going on at the park today. Just the normal people walking around. Since the grass was wet there weren't any groups sitting or playing around today. Just the morning walkers. I had my coffee and just watched the steam come above the lid of the cup wishing it would stay dark and gloomy but the sun came out.
