This house if full of people tonight, they are stacked in
shoulder to shoulder. There is a table of beverages that many individuals crowd
around in a line, waiting for their turn. A man at the door takes in money from
everyone who enters the premises. The sound in here is almost a white noise,
combined with music, talking, and people playing side games. I notice that only
around half of the individuals here are wearing a costume, being the Halloween
weekend.
A group of NMSU attire wearing people approaches the door at
the front of the house. The Aggies pay their money and enter the lace. This
group looks somewhat misplaced by themselves so they go take seats out on the
patio. After a moment individuals break off from the group to go get a drink.
I see that some people have started up some card games at a
counter top. Some five card draw is being played but mostly black jack and
Texas hold them. Cash betting is ruling the table. A few individuals are not
playing for money but it seems to be the theme.
There is a girl who goes to the entrance of the party by
herself. She is wearing a bumble bee costume and sunglasses. Miss Bumble Bee
walks through the crowd to the drink area. She gets a beverage of choice and
continues to mingle. After about five to ten minutes of this the girl leaves
towards the exit.
The people playing cards have switched their attention to the
patio pong games. There are two people on a team playing another team. A mass
of people are surrounding the pong table conversing and cheering at times. When
a team loses they are kicked off the table and it may take quite a while to get
back on due to all the occupants wanting to play. This area seems to be the
loudest out of the whole place.
A man dressed up as a police officer strolls the beverage
table for something to drink. The Officer looks to be alone and ends up taking a
seat near the entrance on a couch. Several individuals go to leave the place
and on the way out the Officer recognize a friend and he departs out with them.
My eyes see the NMSU group moving in on a pong table. The
Aggies play until a victor is decided then the group exits to get one more
drink for the night. When they are finished they all leave out the front door.
The crowd is slowly dwindling down and the music becomes more
evident and clear. A handful of individuals are dancing near the speakers now.
The card games have ceased and the main focus is the ping pong game still. A
domino effect sort of takes place after some people begin to leave in packs.
More and more individuals leave as it gets quieter in the house. Eventually it
is down to a couple people talking softly by themselves on the patio.
