Freaky Friday

It is currently 12:30 and very busy here in my field site compared to how it is normally. There are about 20 to 25 people here ranging from 18 to 60 years of age. It is Halloween today, but I see no reason why that would connect with the larger amount of people in here. Only two people in the room and dressed up today, one male and one female, the female appears to be Minnie mouse, she wears a short dress and the Minnie ears. Two girls both in white sit in front of me drinking coffee from newton bros. two elderly woman sit to my right, they look about 50, and are eating and talking. One eats a burger from skillet 360 while the other eats a bagel. Minnie eats a bagel from newton bros as she plays on her phone. She eats most of it but then doesn't finish before leaving out the outside doors. There is a young girl in here that appears to be an elementary schooler. I have no idea what someone her age is doing here on a college campus. She sits and watches something on a tablet, alone. She drinks the last of her soda, goes to throw it away and then packs her things and leaves. Newton bros is currently more popular, they have a line while skillet 360 does not. An older man sits in one of the booths and reads something on his phone. In the other booth a young man works on his homework. The middle booth is currently left empty. Another older gentlemen sits near me going over his notes form one of his classes, maybe studying for an exam. He drinks from a soda from skillet 360. It has calmed down a ton since I've been here, there are no longer lines and now everyone has either gotten their food to go or have sat down to eat.  The two young coffee drinkers talk about zombies, the walking dead and some video game that involved zombie fitting. They also talk about a zombie game that is being held on campus. The two elderly woman near me talk in hushed tones so I cannot hear what their conversation is about. Two more girls sit at a table caddy corner to where I am at. They have just sat down coming from the door from within the building. They are both Hispanic and I have previously seen them in here. One wears a purple jacket while the other wears a gray one. Gray jacket eats hot Cheetos and studies while talking to the girl in purple, I overhear that she has an exam in an hour and is very stressed. Both of the girls drink out of large ater bottle with large straws that look to be filters. The young man in the booth finished up his work and packs is quickly before leaving out of the doors leading to the building. Before leaving though he stopps and gets a drink from newton bros. the older gentlemen in the other booth also leaves, leaving his trash at the table and rushing out the outside doors.
