The Distraction

Today might not have been the right day to write my blog. The day seems wonderful, with the small amount of breeze and the cloudy sky, but I’m freezing cold. I might be getting some type of cold or something but the blog must be done.

I sit in my usual spot, and I see at the end of my table to the left, a young girl who seems to be about 19 years of age. She is tall and had long hair. I have seen this girl around plenty of times when I make my way to my second class on Monday and Wednesday. Anyways, like I said before, her hair is long and extra curly tighten up in a ponytail. She is wearing a light brown sweater with a matching pair of legging and boots. She looks extremely cozy and comfortable. The type of clothes you wish you could be in everyday at home, laying down on the couch, watching movies or something.

As I take a good look, I see her looking at the computer screen. Nothing is bothering her. I do not see her phone anywhere. She could be studying, I suppose.  A few minutes later I see two of her friends pass by and say hi. The friends stay at her desk area, and completely distract comfy girl from her studying. She starts talking and laughing with the two friends. I notice the people around the desk area in which comfy girl is at are just looking around in frustration. Maybe the girls are talking too loud for a library.

One of the friends is average looking, and the other one has more of a boyish look. The average looking girl has her hair straighten, a plain gray t-shirt, dark denim blue jeans and vans shoes. The “boyish” girl had her hair up in a ponytail, with the white NMSU t-shirt, gym shorts up to her knees, long Nike socks and Nike basketball shoes.

Average girl seems to just be hanging out with the girls because in a few minutes, she gets up from her seat and hugs the other two girl’s bye. Boyish girl stays with comfy girl. She takes out her laptop and checks what seems to be her MyNMSU account. The girls continue talking and laughing the entire time I am here. People around seem to be getting more frustrated and start packing up and leaving. As for me, I have a lot of things to do on this busy day for me. I also do not feel so good, so let’s see how much stuff I get done tonight.
