The Fourth Member

The weather is perfect with its cold breeze, and cloudy sky. It’s a bit chilly for me but with a cup of hot coco, it makes it just right. I walk into the building this morning and see only a few people at the computer station. I sit in my normal spot, and begin to look around for something interesting.

I look to my left, and I see a girl with a pink sweater that says Hollister sit down at one computer desk. She looks confused by the face expressions she is making. She looks around a couple of times. The last time she looks around, she finally smiles and waves hi to one of her friends. Her friend comes to her way and says hi back, followed by a hug. They begin talking about another friend who is supposed to meet up with then for a class project.

The friend that walked in and said hi, is wearing a forest green sweater with a beige shirt underneath, light blue jeans and brown boots. I love her scarf. It’s a pretty light brown color with beautiful dark green leafs all around; matching her outfit. Her hair it’s long, and seems to have dark brown highlights. She sits at the computer and continue to talk about their project.

After the girls both sit down, the third peer comes along and says hi to both of them. The girls begin to open up windows for a project, but then stop. Why? They forgot the fourth member of their group has the video for their presentation. The girls then say to call her and see if she is available to come meet with them. From my understanding, I believe the girl on the phone said she can make it because the girls stop doing what they started and begin to talk again.

This time the girls talk about school related topics. One girl says she is doing 18 credit hours of school this semester, plus she is working too. The other girl talks about her classes and how difficult they are getting for her to keep up with all the assignments. The girl in greens gives advice to the girls on how to manage their time. As soon as they stop talking about school, their fourth member of the group come in. The fourth member says hi and brings a chair over to join the other three ladies.

Now the girls can get to work on their project, but not as much. All they do is brainstorm and assignment member to different parts of the assignments. Once the girls get their part of the project, the girls then talk about when they should meet up again. The girls were having difficulty decided when was the perfect day to meet up because of their crazy schedules. One of the girl’s work, the other one has classes on a weird schedule, another girl was okay with whatever they date, and the fourth member was just not cooperating. Every time the other three girls would agree, the fourth member would just say, “Hmmm, I don’t know if I can, I have to check my schedule”. I wouldn’t know if she actually was busy, or maybe she was just saying that because she doesn’t want to do any work? Who knows?
