The Pre-Halloween Visit at Starbucks!

It’s a late Thursday night as I come once again to the famous coffee place everyone knows by the green straw Starbucks.  There is less people than I expected this time because the parking lot seems full. As I am walking towards the Starbucks I notice that the Starbucks is completely empty. Not a single person is there but the two employees working which are Shelby and another young gentleman. There are just basically just sitting back waiting for customers. I head to the counter and order a cookie. Shelby is the one at the register while the young gentleman grabs the orders. I get my cookie and grab a seat. As I set my things up more people start to arrive.

There is people ordering many drinks from smoothies to lattes. I turn my attention to the reading area and there is some older aged people sitting in the magazines area. There is an elderly couple sitting down in a bench. The woman is wearing a nice light blue blouse with dress pants and the man is wearing I nice polo shirt with jeans. The woman is reading a gardening magazine and the man is reading a magazine about cars. Typical stereotype you would say the woman is into all the girly stuff and the guy is into cars. Next to them is a young lady wearing a pink sun dress which you wouldn’t expect her wearing such summery clothes because by this time it’s starting to get cold. She has red hair and is reading a Seventeen Magazine. My guess is she is looking at the fashion clothes.

From my left I see kids playing with Legos in the kid’s area. There is young boy about 7 years old and another little girl about 8 years old. They seem to be having fun while the parents are near by looking at baby books because as you can guess the mother is expecting a child. The mother is wearing a loose blouse barely showing her pregnancy belly and dark jeans. The father is wearing a plaid shirt with dark jeans as well. They are looking at a baby book searching for names. The mother puts the books down and gather the whole family to head out the door.

 I look around the store and there are many decorations of Halloween. Halloween is a holiday that Americans celebrate each year. It consists of scares, dressing up, and candy. This is a holiday that has been celebrated for a very long time and it happens to be tomorrow. I turn back to the reading area and the elderly couple is gone while the young lady in the sun dress is still there. She continues to read magazines. I now turn my attention to the Starbucks and there is a line now. Young teens are lined up to get a drink. Shelby and young gentleman try to keep up with the orders. The sitting area has gotten quite full now. Some people are reading magazines while others are just on their computers doing work. They all have a Starbucks drink nearby. Some are even eating pastries. As I finish my cookie I pack my stuff up and head out. Happy Halloween everyone! Until next time.
