Playing football for walk on players are not easy. As Saturday game the New mexico state Aggies fell again they loss against Texas state Bobcats. Watching the game from the sideline is not easy.
It's 2;00 o'clock pm and kickoff is about to start. As I'm watching from the sidelines the aggies will receive the ball to start the game off. Kickoff is underway and as you can see people are not very physical on the kickoff and I wonder what the coach is thinking. Watching from the sidelines you are watching team collide and crash into each other like cars. In your mind you wonder why you not out there when you know your more physical then others and you will make the plays that others wont make. Why suit up in this black uniform and don't get in? For walks on they don't get chances like that because their a walk on and its all about business.
The feeling from watching for the sideline is horrible. Its like your trap in a pitch black whole waiting to get out. When you know your team is in a bad predicament you went to be the player that makes a change because you know you can do it. When you seem the other team celebrate when they score the feeling is not good. You know that you could of stopped them from scoring but you're not getting a chance to so its awful.
When the coach is down two men in your position and he needs someone to go he will never call you because your a walk on. The whole operation is a business. The people who been there longer gets fed first. You're like a tiger waiting to get released from the cage. The fire insides you will light and it will ignite when your not called and your frustration starts to boiling up. Watching from the sidelines is not good especially when your team has only won two games and the coach is not trying to do nothing new. Watching from the sidelines is like being stuck in a black whole waiting to get saved or like a tiger in the cage slowly waiting for his chance to strike!
