Intelligince

  A football game between Las Cruces High School and Mayfield High School. These are the two oldest High Schools in Las Cruces. The game is held at Aggie memorial stadium. Around thirty-thousand people attend the game. I was working with the new busser today. We were slow so the manager felt safe to put him on. Today was one of the only days where I did not work the busser that has had episodes in the past where his attitude has had a negative effect on others employees. I taught the new busser to be obedient to the servers requests without question, unless the request was ridiculous or could have a negative effect on someone.
   The whole restaurant staff had a team that they were routing for. Big games will divide and bring people together. I did not have a team  that I was routing for because I graduated from another school and do not really care about the game. I noticed people who did not care about the game got annoyed by the people who really had an interest in it. At times I even got annoyed with the people who kept bringing the game up. The thing I noticed is that nobody would bring up the schools until the week of the game. The game is a tradition that has been around for a long time.
